The Arkansas State Men’s Golf Team secured the championship trophy at the 2024 Golfweek Fall Challenge in September at True Blue Golf Club.
Arkansas State (-35 for the tournament) saved the tournament’s best round for last, shooting a scorching 15-under par Tuesday to cruise to a 12-stroke victory over runner-up Wright State (-23). Austin Peay (-17), Stetson (-9) and Richmond (+1) finished third through fifth, respectively.
Austin Peay’s Patton Samuels (-15) earned individual medalist honors with his two-stroke final margin over Wright State’s Andrew Flynn.

The Golfweek Fall Challenge is contested each year at the South Strand’s two preeminent Mike Strantz designs. Thirty-three teams competed this year (18 women’s, 15 men’s) with 28 schools represented, including (in alphabetical order) Arkansas State (both divisions), Austin Peay State, Boise State, Campbell, Charleston Southern (both divisions), Charlotte, Dartmouth, Florida Atlantic, High Point, Loyola-Chicago, Mercer, Morehead State, New Mexico State, New Orleans, North Carolina A&T (both divisions), Presbyterian College, Queens University of Charlotte, Richmond, Seton Hall, Stephen F.
