Caledonia claimed its spot on the national list at number 29, and number 3 in South Carolina, and True Blue maintained its place at number 77 on the national list and number 6 in the state. The sister courses are ranked among the premier public-access golf courses in America. Rankings are based on “Golf Magazine’s” course rater reviews after playing each course.
“We’re honored to have both courses rated as Top 100 courses by ‘Golf Magazine’ in back-to-back rankings,” said Bob Seganti, PGA director of golf operations for Caledonia Golf and Fish Club and True Blue Golf Club. “Our courses are listed among others that get international attention and have hosted huge tournaments such as the U.S. Open, and it’s very exciting to see our names beside theirs.”
Award-winning golf course architect Mike Strantz sought to make nature the star of his projects when he designed the sister courses. Both Caledonia and True Blue were developed to fully embrace the natural beauty of their Lowcountry surroundings and are carefully maintained to provide players with world-class golf experiences.
