Caledonia & True Blue Golf Courses Ranked on Golf Magazine’s 2014 Top 100 Courses

Golfers who visit the Grand Strand, “golf capital of the world,” and local S.C. players have something new to brag about if they have played on Caledonia Golf & Fish Club or True Blue Golf Club courses; both have just been included on Golf Magazine’s 2014 “Top 100 Courses You Can Play”.

Caledonia appears on the national list at number 27, and number 3 in S.C. and True Blue is a new addition to the national list at number 77, and number 6 in the state. The sister courses are ranked among the premier public-access golf courses in America. Rankings are based on Golf Magazine’s course rater reviews after playing each course.

“We are humbled and appreciative of all of the acclaim and support we have received since opening our courses nearly twenty years ago,” said Bob Seganti, PGA director of golf operations for Caledonia Golf & Fish Club and True Blue Plantation. “Being included on Golf Magazine’s list, among so many amazing courses, is a tremendous honor. We know that it means we are doing what we set out to do – giving Grand Strand golfers a great place to play and a reason to return.”

The land-adjacent golf courses were designed by award-winning golf course architect, Mike Strantz who sought to make nature the star of his projects. Both Caledonia and True Blue were developed to fully embrace the natural beauty of their Lowcountry surroundings and are carefully maintained to provide players with world-class golf experiences.
